About Me

Jinger JarrettI am a full-time freelance writer, author and internet marketer. I teach small businesses how to get started on the internet by building an online business and then marketing using free internet marketing techniques and low-cost tools.

My writing career began in the early 1990s after I joined the Michigan Army National Guard. I worked as a print military journalist (46Q) at Headquarters Camp Grayling while I attended Central Michigan University to get my Journalism degree. I hold a B.A.A. with majors in both Journalism and English as Literature because writing is my passion. Previously I served in the U.S. Army as a Fixed Ciphony Repairer (32F – Signal Corps). My secondary MOS is 71L – Administrative Specialist. I am 20 level in both my 46Q and 71L MOSs because I worked them as an NCO. I was honorably discharged from both services.

I briefly worked as a civilian newspaper reporter before leaving the industry for a while. I picked up my writing career in late 2001 early 2002 when I started an online business. The rest is history. I’ve been in online business ever since.

I became one of the top 100 writers for Crowdsource, the number one article writing company in the world. Previously I worked for Article Marketer, and my book, Article Writing Cash is based on that experience. In this book, I teach those who want to learn how to use articles to market their businesses how to write effective articles. Then I show you where to market those articles so they get the maximum amount of traffic and sales.

For years I also held the number one position in Google for free internet marketing because all the internet marketing techniques I teach are free to use. My ebooks are also available on Amazon as Kindles and books. For more information, click here: Jinger Jarrett on Amazon.

As a U.S. Army veteran, I am deeply concerned about the issues that relate to veterans. This includes all veterans worldwide because we all seem to have the same problems and need to connect to help one another. Currently, I offer a directory of resources to help veterans find the resources they need to solve their problems. I also want to bring veterans worldwide work together so that we may help one another get our benefits, find jobs, build businesses and achieve economic prosperity as well as get the health care we deserve.

To help veterans, I have created both a directory and three Facebook groups to offer support and connect. For veterans who want to join my groups on Facebook, you can join here:

Military Veterans Worldwide – This group is for those who want to hang out and connect with other veterans.

Military Veterans Worldwide Business – Connect with other veterans to build businesses, get jobs and work together with other veterans to solve our problems.

Military Veterans Worldwide PTSD Support Group – Although this group is small, I designed it to help veterans find the resources they need in order to heal from PTSD.

Through my work with veterans, I became involved in the issues of farm murders and genocide in South Africa. You can read about my efforts and get involved in my blog:

A Free South Africa

Future plans for me include travel writing as I would like to write about the various countries where our fellow Allied veterans live. These include South Africa, Great Britain, and Australia.

Recently I added another blog when I became interested in survival skills and disaster preparedness. Although this is often considered the domain of far right wingers and conspiracy theorists, hurricanes, power outages, financial emergencies and all the other issues we face makes it necessary to be prepared. It’s really no fun having the heat out when it’s cold outside.

Survival Ready Life

I currently live in Kinston, NC where two of my daughters live, and I get to see four of my six grandchildren quite often. My family is very important to me, and it is where I spend my time when I’m not working or enjoying my hobbies, which include reading, travel and meeting new people.

Although most of the time I write about online business and internet marketing, occasionally I do write about mindset because I believe that mindset is the key to success in both business and life. You’ll find those articles and tips on my main blog.
